Recruiting Editorial Board Members for Psychology International


To support the journal’s continued growth and development, Psychology International (ISSN: 2813-9844) is seeking applications for new Editorial Board Members to further its mission of promoting open science and high-quality scientific exchange.

Psychology International is an international, peer-reviewed, open access journal on all aspects of psychology. It serves as a platform for the dissemination of high-quality research across various subfields, including neuropsychology, clinical psychology, cognitive psychology, sports psychology, educational psychology, social psychology, psychometrics, and mental health. Furthermore, the journal seeks to promote interdisciplinary collaboration by encouraging the submission of contributions that integrate perspectives from related fields such as sports and anthropology. Our primary goal is to facilitate the exchange of psychological knowledge among researchers and practitioners across the world.

Recruitment:
Editorial Board Members will hold the position for two years, with the possibility of renewal for a second term.

Application eligibility of the candidates:

  • Completed their doctorate/PhD degree;
  • Served as the first author/corresponding author on at least eight peer-reviewed and published manuscripts in the last five years;
  • Published impactful work in the field of psychology;
  • Currently (at the time of application) hold an associate professor or professor position in academia;
  • Actively engaged in their community (e.g., experienced at presenting at conferences or involved in professional organizations).

  • Editorial Board Members can organize or promote their own conferences using our SciForum platform;
  • There will be opportunities to participate in or host annual meetings and online seminars organized by the Editor-in-Chief and Editorial Board Members;
  • Editorial Board Members can expand their research network, providing new insights, collaborations, and opportunities for future research projects.

The main responsibilities of Editorial Board Members are as follows:

  • Reviewing a couple of manuscripts per year and making decisions (i.e., whether to accept them for publication);
  • Writing papers for the journal or serve as a Guest Editor of a Special Issue relating to their research interests.

The Editorial Office will seek advice from the Editorial Board whenever this is necessary or productive.
