Round 1

Reviewer 1 Report

First of all, congratulate the authors of the article for the excellent article. The truth is that the idea is innovative and I loved the article. It is very interesting and I hope to be able to read the continuation of the investigation soon.

Author Response

Thank you for your kind review.

Reviewer 2 Report

This work presents a case study about using the Unified Graphic Visualization of Activity (UGVA) method for the visual comparison of complex multi-parametric systems. The idea is interesting but the method of building UGVA is complicated in some sense.

The writing of this paper is in good shape except few minor typos such as "antropomorphic" (anthropomorphic) in Line 6 at Page 1.

Author Response

Thank you for your review.

  1. We added a paragraph discussing the complexity of the method and its result.

The UGVA method, as well as other pictographic methods (e.g., Chernoff faces) requires well-defined parametric models and sound composition of the image and its parametric zones, which makes the usage of UGVA method somewhat complicated. But its usage in the tasks of evaluation, comparison and monitoring of multiparameter systems (e.g., students during learning) allows processing and generalizing a large amount of information, which is visualized efficiently. These results is worth the time and effort spent on designing UGVA images because it gives a flexible tool for explainable decision making in the learning process and other tasks requiring quick analysis of complex systems.

 2. We double-checked spelling and grammar in the manuscript and fixed typos (including these in Line 6) and minor differences between manuscript text and text in the figures.
