This was my first time publishing a paper in Antioxidants. It was a great experience starting from the submission which was very ease, peer-review process and speed of publication. This was my second paper published in Antioxidants, and it took only 24 days from submission to publication. I was very grateful to the editors, reviewers and publishing staff for their efficient work. The reviewers of Antioxidants were very professional and rigorous, and put forward a lot of suggestions on data statistics, language, result analysis and other aspects of the paper, which greatly improved the level of our manuscript. The journal editor handled the manuscript quickly and replied to my email within 1 day. I will continue to submit my manuscript to Antioxidants in future. The online submission system was straightforward and the review process took nearly two weeks. The two reviewers provided us with valuable feedback and professional advice/comments, which led to an improvement in the quality/reliability of our work. Reviewing the revised version was also quick (a couple of days). Before online publication, the English editing group of the journal suggested some changes, mainly regarding the titles of the figures and the reference style, which were beneficial.
