The European Powder Diffraction Conference (EPDIC) is the only European conference completely dedicated to all aspects of the analysis of polycrystalline materials using diffraction methods.

Established in Munich in 1991, EPDICs have swiftly become key gatherings for researchers in the field, serving as ideal platforms for showcasing and disseminating new developments in powder diffraction instrumentation, analysis, and applications.

EPDIC conferences bring together experts from universities, research institutes and instrumentation companies to share their knowledge and discuss the current trends and challenges in powder diffraction.

EPDIC18

EPDIC18 will be a vibrant three-day scientific conference, offering abundant learning opportunities across all facets of powder crystallography, complemented by a substantial commercial exhibition. Featuring 12 microsymposia, 24 keynote speakers, 6 plenary lectures, and 2 prestigious awards, the program will encompass a wide array of both traditional and emerging topics of interest to the powder community. It will cover the latest advancements in materials science, methods, computing, artificial intelligence, instrumentation and related sciences, designed to appeal to scientists of all ages, as well as companies.

To be considered for the Best Poster Awards, please submit your abstract by July 15 at https://epdic18.org/best-poster-awards/. You can apply for multiple awards, ensuring the eligibility criteria are met.

After July 15th, all those who have submitted an abstract will receive an email with instructions on how to apply for the poster awards.
