2nd ICGEB Workshop on Human papillomavirus: From Basic Biology to Cancer Prevention

The workshop aims at providing a platform for sharing knowledge and research advances on human papillomavirus in relation to cancer development, detection, epidemiology & prevention. It will cover a wide range of topics including viral replication & life cycle, functions of oncoproteins, genome & RNA modification & regulation, HPV testing methodology & application, pathogenesis, epidemiology, cancer screening and public health issues. Areas related to cervical, anogenital, oropharyngeal and other cancers possibly associated with HPV are within the scope of this workshop.

Participants
- Researchers in the field of tumor virology, especially those focusing on HPV.
- Healthcare providers & administrators who may come across clinical problems related to HPV-associated cancers, especially cervical, anogenital and head & neck cancers.
- Healthcare professionals who may be involved in provision, interpretation or organizing cervical cancer screening programmes.
- Any scientists or clinicians who are interested in updating their knowledge on HPV and HPV-associated cancers.
