Special Issue Information

Dear Colleagues,

Since the 21st century, the field of information technology (IT) has grown progressively and rapidly. IT has made our lives more convenient than we have ever expected. Recently, in all areas of the industry, heterogeneous technologies have converged with information technology; this has resulted in a new paradigm: information convergence. This process of information convergence has introduced very challenging issues, which concern data structures, systems, networks, and infrastructures. This conference aims to discover new and progressive technologies by enhancing previous technologies and solving the technical problems that may have arisen in the process of technological convergence (of various fields of industry).

At ICITCS 2013, IT experts, researchers, and practitioners from varied fields will be invited to share ideas and research technologies; moreover they will be encouraged to cooperate with each other to overcome common technical problems. As a result, this conference will become a place of knowledge that will influence every field related to information convergence and security.

The conference seeks contributions presenting novel research results in all aspects of IT Convergence and Security. Submitted papers will be peer-reviewed and the accepted papers and posters will be published in the IEEE, which is indexed by ISI and Scopus. Furthermore, selected papers will be published in the Special Issues of prestigious international journals (after further revision).

Authors are invited to submit the extended versions of their original papers and contributions; topics of interest include, but are not limited to, the following:
