Special Issue Information

Dear Colleagues,

Imaging, which is well known as medical diagnosis, plays a vital role in clinic in understanding the stage of disease and decision making on approach of treatment. With advances in emerging imaging modalities, the field of cardiovascular imaging has drawn significant attentions in both academic and clinical research. The imaging techniques have been used to measure myocardial perfusion, thrombosis, smoth muscle cells, neointima, deep vein thrombisis, activated blood cloot, left venticular function, coronary anatomy, arterial blockage and cardiac fibrosis.

The intent of the “Cardiovasular Imaging” Special Issue is to present a snap shot of the field’s development by covering a range of topics that includes instrumentations, method and materials development and applications in the areas of cardiovascular imaging using MRI, CT, PET, ECG and optical methods etc.. We welcome the submission for both research and review articles from clinical, basic and applied researchers.
