Oliver Hart Wins 2016 Nobel Prize in Economic Sciences

Congratulations to Oliver Hart, who has been awarded the Sveriges Riksbank Prize in Economic Sciences in Memory of Alfred Nobel 2016, together with Bengt Holmström.

Oliver Hart is the Andrew E. Furer Professor of Economics at Harvard University, where he has taught since 1993. Hart works mainly on contract theory, the theory of the firm, corporate finance, and law and economics.

As part of a Special Issue on Contract Theory, the open access article Noncontractible Investments and Reference Points was authored by Oliver Hart and published in the MDPI journal Games (ISSN 2073-4336).
