The aims of the meeting are to bring together the latest advances in research on side effects of pesticides to biological control agents towards improved implementation of integrated pest management. Topics include: Effects of plant protection products and alternative products (induced resistance elicitors, plant extracts, etc.) on beneficial arthropods and non-target organisms; Implementation of results from side-effect tests to IPM; Selectivity of plant protection products authorized in organic farming on beneficial arthropods; Procedures to test side effects of pesticides/control methods on important beneficial organisms; Test methods for special plant protection products; Side-effects of pesticides in glasshouse crops/open field/orchards.
