Atmosphere was recently added to the Science Citation Index Expanded (SCIE). Based on the SCIE data an unofficial Impact Factor can be calculated. The unofficial Impact Factor for Atmosphere for 2012 is 0.9. Atmosphere published 40 articles (excl. editorial material) in 2010-2011 that were cited 36 times by other SCIE-journals in 2012. The first official Impact Factor for Atmosphere will be published in June 2014, and calculated with citations from 2013 to articles published in 2011-2012.
