MDPI is pleased to announce that a new online submission & editorial system was launched yesterday, 5 July 2010. Authors of MDPI journals are now able to register with www.mdpi.com and to submit manuscripts directly online, as well as to track the progress of their manuscript in real time.
Furthermore, the new system offers the possibility to subscribe for free table of contents e-mail alerts and to easily manage the subscriptions in one central place. E-mail alerts may be received on a daily, weekly or monthly basis. It is also possible to save search queries, and to be notified about newly published articles maching one’s saved search queries.
For comments or suggestions on the new system, please contact Mr. Thomas Schurter, schurter@mdpi.com.
We are pleased to report the continued increase of the scientific impact of MDPI's Open Access journals as reflected by the newly released Impact Factors for 2009:
Although they did not receive their first official Impact Factor, following journals are already covered by the Science Citation Index Expanded and will receive their Impact Factors in 2011 and 2012 respectively:
The Chemistry Add-in for Word makes it easier to insert and modify chemical information, such as labels, formulas, and 2-D depictions, within Microsoft Office Word. Additionally, it enables the creation of inline “chemical zones”, the rendering of print-ready visual depictions of chemical structures, and the ability to store and expose chemical information in a semantically rich manner.
The Chemistry Add-in for Word is free and can be downloaded from the Microsoft website at http://research.microsoft.com/en-us/projects/chem4word/
